Position:
Registered Veterinary Technician – Surgery & Anesthesia Department.

$26 – $35/hr based on experience and licensure.

Full‑Time:
Five 8‑hour shifts or Four 10‑hour shifts per week; overtime opportunities available.

As a Surgical Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll work alongside four board‑certified surgeons and an anesthesiologist in a modern facility equipped with advanced technology such as CT, MRI, endoscopy, and arthroscopy. Your responsibilities include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, patient charting, and ensuring smooth transitions from admission to discharge.

• Assist in surgical admissions and client communication, maintain accurate medical records and daily charges, coordinate patient discharges, and review at‑home care with clients.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals throughout surgery, maintain aseptic technique and proper use of surgical equipment, perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Support emergency transfers and hospitalized patients.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) status required.
• Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably in Surgery/Anesthesia.
• Proficiency in advanced veterinary knowledge including restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, venipuncture, anesthesia induction and monitoring, fluid therapy, drug calculations, laboratory equipment and procedures, pharmacology, disease processes, etc.
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills with clients and team members, commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
