Position:
Registered Veterinary Technician – Surgery & Anesthesia Department.
$26 – $35/hr based on experience and licensure.
ScheduleFull‑Time:
Five 8‑hour shifts or Four 10‑hour shifts per week; overtime opportunities available.

As a Surgical Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll work alongside four board‑certified surgeons and an anesthesiologist in a modern facility equipped with advanced technology such as CT, MRI, endoscopy, and arthroscopy. Your responsibilities include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, patient charting, and ensuring smooth transitions from admission to discharge.

Position Responsibilities- Assist in surgical admissions and client communication, maintain accurate medical records and daily charges, coordinate patient discharges, and review at‑home care with clients.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals throughout surgery, maintain aseptic technique and proper use of surgical equipment, perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
- Support emergency transfers and hospitalized patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) status required.
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably in Surgery/Anesthesia.
- Proficiency in advanced veterinary knowledge including restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, venipuncture, anesthesia induction and monitoring, fluid therapy, drug calculations, laboratory equipment and procedures, pharmacology, disease processes, etc.
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills with clients and team members, commitment to exceptional patient care.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
