Novant Health is hiring a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) registered nurse for the night shift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We’re offering up to a $30,000 sign-on bonus as well as up to $7,500 relocation.

About our Medicine IV Unit:

We‘re seeking compassionate and patient care driven nurses to join our Med Surg team! Our unit comprises 41 beds; we have a patient ratio averaging 5-6 :1 it is our goal with our new team model, where every patient is assigned an RN, LPN and CNA it is our goal for the ratio then be 10:2. Given the high modality of the cases we handle, our nursing team thrives on great communication, ongoing team support and training within the workplace.

What We‘re Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

• Associate‘s or Bachelor‘s degree in nursing.

• Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.

• 1 year of acute nursing experience, required.

What You‘ll Do:

• Provide specialized care and monitor patients closely.

• Work with healthcare teams to develop care plans for patients.

• Manage complex conditions and perform necessary procedures.

• Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.

• Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.

• Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records.
