Travel Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

We’re looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Wilmington, NC. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physician.

Medical Surgical Travel Nurses should stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting of patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds. RNs will work in a fast‑paced environment with patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.

• CHEMO and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title:
