Join Novant Health's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Scott's Hill Medical Center , a brand-new facility set to open Summer 2026 . This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new PACU while delivering exceptional post-anesthesia care to surgical patients.

Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures
Monitor and assess patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring airway stability, pain control, and hemodynamic support
Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Utilize critical-thinking skills and PACU-specific expertise to support safe patient recovery and transitions of care
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Current, valid North Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact license required
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a critical care or healthcare equivalent setting required
Prior ASC or outpatient surgery suite experience with leadership responsibility , preferred
