Position Overview

RN Ambulatory Specialty – Novant Health – Wilmington, NC

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. No weekends or holidays.

Location: 1814 New Hanover Medical Park Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Department: Urology Clinic.

The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health, establishing authentic personalized relationships with patients and their chosen support systems. Collaborating with physicians and other team members, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death. The RN utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey, accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

• Education:
  
  4‑Year/Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and has not been licensed in another state during the last five years, a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for licensure, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:
  
  One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Current RN license in the appropriate state, required; ACLS, PALS, BAT, DOT, preferred.

Salary: $68,000–$90,000 per year.
