Position: Assembly Operator-- KAUDC5722066

Early Hours: Occasional early morning work (3:00 AM – 5:00 AM)

🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Operator to support developmental fiber manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll operate specialized equipment, manage experimental wareflow, and work closely with process engineers to help improve and optimize cutting-edge manufacturing processes.

  • Load, set up, operate, and complete turnaround of developmental fiber making lathes
  • Safely operate and monitor specialized fiber making equipment
  • Identify recurring issues and assist in troubleshooting and resolution
  • Support development and documentation of SOPs and best practices
  • Manage experimental wareflow as required
  • Partner with process engineers on experiments, data collection, and process improvements
  • Train associates and support other shifts when needed
  • Document process observations, issues, and improvement opportunities

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or manufacturing-related role
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including early mornings when required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in a fiber making or manufacturing plant environment
  • Familiarity with Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and ergonomic assessments
  • Experience writing SOPs and training associates
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Willingness to share ideas, improve processes, and support team members
