Location: 100% Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (occasional overtime with approval)

Job OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support engineering and system development activities in a lab environment. In this role, you will assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot I&C equipment used in system integration and prototype development.
The ideal candidate enjoys precision craftsmanship, working with hardware, and collaborating closely with engineers to build and validate instrumentation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and build I&C system components, panels, and assemblies per engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
- Perform bench-level testing of sensors, transmitters, controllers, and signal conditioning equipment
- Support system integration by wiring, configuring, and verifying I&C connections and test setups
- Assist with prototype builds, hardware troubleshooting, calibration, and verification activities
- Execute calibration and functional testing using standard lab equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Perform soldering, cable fabrication, harness assembly, and panel wiring
- Document build and test results, including assembly records, test data, and nonconformance reports
- Maintain lab organization, tool control, and a safe, clean working environment
- Support functional and environmental testing such as continuity, insulation resistance, and signal verification
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and lab protocols
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design or test issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement by updating procedures and work instructions
- Prepare instrumentation and test setups for system-level or field testing as required
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, wiring, soldering, or control systems preferred
- Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
