Assembly Operator

Overview

Duration: 06 Months Contract (with possible extension)

Job Description: Assembly operator, responsible for operating developmental fiber making equipment and for managing the experimental wareflow.

• Load, setup, run, and turnaround the developmental lathe
• Identify, report, and help resolve frequent problems
• Help develop the SOP and best practices associated with the developmental process
• Manage wareflow as needed
• Work with process engineers on data collection, experiments, etc.
• Train shifts as needed

• 2+ years of work experience in a technical field.

• Prior work experience in fiber making plant
• Experience with JSAs and ergonomic assessments
• Experience in writing SOPs and training associates
• Innovation and voicing of new ideas
• Rapid problem solving
• Willingness to train and help others
• Documenting and reporting issues

Minimum High School Diploma
