Estate Planning Attorney

Overview

Jones Networking is recruiting for an Estate Planning Attorney to join a prestigious Law Firm in Wilmington, NC. Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, excellent benefits, PTO, 401K and more.

• Consult with prospective clients and lead them through the firm's proprietary Estate Planning Process.
• Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior Estate Planning and Asset Protection work products.
• Research, design, and create complex and customized estate plans.
• Ability to draft both basic and sophisticated estate planning documents including those which incorporate estate and income tax planning including irrevocable trusts
• Experience catering to and addressing the planning needs of federally taxable estates
• Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps
• Engage in matter management to ensure all cases move forward in a timely manner

• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina
• Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision
• Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients
• Strong understanding of North Carolina estate law statutes and case law
• Ability to research and analyze legal issues
• Proficient legal writing skills
