Senior Technical Consultant

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to support integration and automation efforts for Financial Institutions implementing the nCino platform. In this client-facing role, you’ll design and deliver event-driven, scalable solutions that connect third-party systems, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for simplifying complex integrations in dynamic environments. You’ll work closely with clients and implementation partners to translate business needs into technical solutions using the nCino Integration Framework and Salesforce ecosystem. A strong understanding of middleware and workflow automation platforms are essential, as these technologies play a key role in orchestrating data flows and automating business processes across systems.

Essential Functions:

• Provide technical assistance and leadership for medium to large financial institutions and Implementation Service Consultants when building integrations into the nCino/ platform using the nCino Integration Framework.

• Help build integrations from third-party systems into the nCino platform using any number of technical solutions based on the desired and proper approach for each unique project.

• Document process and procedure to help streamline integration methodology.

• Build and document testing requirements for unique projects.

• Provide solution and integration development with  including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing and deployment.

• Evaluate vendor API and interface specifications.

• Handle multiple projects effectively while continuing to deliver exceptional quality.

• Work independently and prioritize time and projects appropriately.

• Translate customer requirements into implementation plans.

• Drive customer success with a team player attitude.

• Design a salesforce solution that meets the needs of the customer.

• Learn and fully understand the nCino platform data model and how it interacts with all parts of the system.

• Effectively track time and bill for hours worked on customer projects.

• Assist sales and sales engineering on technical prospect calls when required.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience/ proficiency with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s / Advanced degree; or equivalent work experience (as applicable).

• Ability to write code, perform advanced proof of concepts, and design basic integration patterns for various software architectural styles and Web Services platforms

• Ability to troubleshoot advanced performance issues, programming language limits, CPU Timeouts, and recommend solutions

• Proficient in basic code engineering of classes and code patterns to achieve efficient, quality and maintainable code

• Ability to design basic User Interfaces

• Ability to understand and engineer component solutions in various Cloud Solutions

• Ability to document complex solutions and customer facing documentation for work performed

• Salesforce Dev
  401 certification

• Strong research, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

• Requires knowledge of data management, SQL and RDBMS technologies.

• Experience using ETL/integration platforms

• Financial Services experience.

• Experience with  developer toolkit IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services.

• Exposure to  configuration and custom development.

• Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, as well as prior work with object-oriented languages

Desired:

• Workflow automation experience.

• Experience with Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript, Type Script.

• Salesforce System Architect.

• Object-oriented languages such as Java, Ruby, C#, C++.

• ETL/integration platforms such as Cast Iron, Informatica, Mulesoft, Snap Logic, etc.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Strong customer and professional skills.

• Position may require some travel
