Overview

.
- Maintain the computer and information systems throughout the Liberty network.
- Ensure computer systems in all locations operate via internal repairs or coordination with vendors/consultants.
- Contact service personnel as needed.
- Maintain system software products (Microsoft Applications and Citrix).
- Upgrade/repair/configure computer systems as necessary.
- Support the user community throughout the Liberty network.
- Provide support and training for software packages.
- Define application problems and work programming staff to ensure expeditious resolution.
- Participate in special projects, on an as needed basis.
- Support users on hardware issues.
- Ensure integrity of computer operations.
- Ensure passwords are secure.
- Monitor end user equipment performance and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve problems reported through our Change Gear ticketing system.
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create knowledge base articles.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- Site acquisition onboarding and support.
- Inventory management.
- Procurements and invoicing.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, or a related field and two to five years’ experience. Appropriate experience in lieu of education may be considered.
- A+ certification and ITIL v3 Foundations Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license. Up to 70% travel. Personal vehicle use.
- Troubleshooting computer systems.
- Evaluating software upgrades.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Managing multiple projects.
- Analyzing end-user system and program needs.
- Configuring systems and software.
- Preparing bid specifications.
- Evaluating vendor bids.
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, upper management, the public, etc., sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
- Well organized.
- Must be well versed in supporting the end user through the phone as well as on-site.
- Familiarity with repair tools and able to perform basic computer hardware repairs.
