Apply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.Novant Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms. This role works independently and with physicians/APCs to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

What You’ll DoPrepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.
Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile exams.
Assist licensed practitioners with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini C-arms, post-reductions).
Perform mobile imaging, including lines, pacers, and neonatal imaging.
Ensure proper operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and arrange for maintenance as needed.
Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
Comply with all federal and state radiation safety laws and proper use of monitoring devices.
Contribute to a safe patient environment guided by the principle of “First Do No Harm.”
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (required).
Certification required within 6 months of graduation from an accredited Radiology Program (required).
Associate degree in Radiography (preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience (preferred).
ARRT certification in Radiography – RT(R) (required).
Applicable state licensure (required). xrlwcon
Post-graduates must pass ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program (required).
