Job Details:

• Work night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week for 13 weeks

• Patient ratios: 1:3-6, flexible based on patient populations (PCU-M/S)

• Every other weekend requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience required

• Travel experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers

• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH

• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

• Float requirement:
Will work with Centralized Resource Nursing Pool and float to all medical/surgical floors, PCUs, cardiac floors, rehab, BHH, PACU, and inpatient holding space for ED

• Will not float to ICUs unless taking stepdown or modified assignment with ICU RN as primary

• Care for patients across inpatient spectrum including medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke

• Work with telemetry and ventilators

• Use PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems

• Navy scrubs required

• 24 hours of orientation

• Must work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events

• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week

• Required to complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
