As an Outpatient Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals living with mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders at our Wilmington, NC clinic.

Your Role in Our MissionAs an Outpatient Therapist with ESPH, you’ll conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop meaningful treatment goals and person‑centered plans (PCPs) that reflect each client’s unique voice, needs, and aspirations. You’ll also have the opportunity to design and lead therapy groups, fostering connection and growth.
Responsibilities- Conduct screenings and evaluations to develop treatment goals and person‑centered plans.
- Provide evidence‑based individual and group therapy.
- Lead and facilitate therapy groups to foster connection and growth.
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic practices and group facilitation, crisis intervention, problem‑solving, and decision‑making.
- Full or provisional LCSW or LCMHC license; dual licensure preferred, LCAS.
- Experience in substance‑use services preferred.
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
- Maintain a valid state‑appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Competitive salary: $50,000–54,000 for provisional licensure; range for full licensure starts at $55,000+.
