This District Manager‑In‑Training (MIT) program lasts approximately sixteen (16) weeks and focuses on:

• Managing multiple accounts in an assigned territory, performing duties of light and heavy housekeeping, laundry, and personal clothing work.
• Providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure staff meets environmental services quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
• Maintaining accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment; reviewing and approving reports, payroll, and enrollment information.
• Communicating effectively between building account managers, administrators, and HCSG staff.
• Enforcing safety protocols, including use of PPE, proper cleaning solution procedures, infection control, and reporting of equipment or product issues.
• Demonstrating punctuality, reliable attendance, and a positive representation of HCSG to supervisors and client staff.
• Ensuring resident and client interactions are courteous, pleasant, and tactful.
• Traveling up to 75% of the time for account/facility visits and regional activities.

• Positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in environmental services in a healthcare environment with personnel supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to complete regulatory compliance courses (sanitation and safety) and implement necessary changes.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Successful P&L and budgetary management skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with a proven track record of growing accounts.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to provide a motor‑vehicle check.
• Basic computer skills, including web‑based reporting.
• Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.
• Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and work around cleaning products.
• Willingness to relocate and live in the assigned market.
