As a Medical Assistant
, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working closely with our providers, you’ll help ensure every patient has a positive, efficient, and compassionate healthcare experience.
- This is a full-time role involving 8-hour weekday shifts
. - The position primarily works with one provider, so we are looking for an adaptable team player who is willing to contribute wherever needed.
- Our clinic operates in a busy, fast-paced environment
, and we seek a candidate who thrives under such conditions. - We offer a comprehensive benefits package available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Selected Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
- Triage patients as necessary
- Administer vaccines and injections
- Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
- Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
- Administer medications
Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed - Maintain proper disinfection protocols
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
- Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
Candidates should preferably have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience
.
