The candidate will report to the hiring manager and take responsibility for developing control databases, graphics, and programming sequences while providing hands‑on startup and commissioning support for building automation projects. Drawing on a solid understanding of electrical circuitry and platforms like Distech or Niagara, the specialist will troubleshoot installation issues, maintain accurate project documentation, and ensure systems operate efficiently to meet building codes and client needs.
Responsibilities- Provide controls database, graphics, programming, etc. for sequences as provided by the Design Specialist, project specifications, or other applicable sources. (Distech, Alerton, Tridium, experience preferred)
- Provide accurate controls of systems start‑up and commissioning including point‑to‑point checkout on projects as assigned.
- Intermediate experience with commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting BACnet MSTP and/or BACnet IP.
- Support and coordinate with installation personnel, contractors, and project managers, etc. on project sites.
