Role Summary / Purpose

Job Summary:

• Implement and support lab environment infrastructure to include Firewalls, Switches, Hosting Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.

• Document processes and details of implementation.

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain documentation of processes and configuration of lab infrastructure. Including:
Firewalls, Switches, Hosting Servers, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines, Windows Domain.

• Routine maintenance of lab infrastructure.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and stability issues.

• Recommend and implement process and system improvements.

• Testing and monitoring of lab infrastructure.

• Work with small teams as part of a large team to deliver quality applications.

Qualifications / Requirements

Skills:

• US Citizen or valid green card holder

• Familiarity with:
Windows Server, Linux, Cisco and Juniper network equipment

• Detail oriented

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Library Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience

Additional Desired Characteristics

• Familiarity with: CI/CD, Mark Down, Git, Mermaid, vSphere, Hyper-V, Windows Clustering, SSH servers

• Experience with Windows domain administration, group policies, account administration, patching (WSUS)

• Desire to automate processes to implement routine activities and documentation
