Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools. This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project needs in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, using finite element method analyses.
- Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
- MUST HAVE:
Proficiency in ANSYS APDL is required. - MUST HAVE:
Civil Engineering experience. - Proficiency in seismic structural analyses.
- Computer programming skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python) is not required, but preferred.
- Proficiency in concrete, steel and composite structures analysis and design.
- AISC/N690 experience is preferred.
- P.E. (US candidates), P. Eng. (Canada candidates) certification preferred.
