Global Laser Enrichment (GLE) is advancing next‑generation uranium enrichment technology with precision, accountability, and purpose. We’re seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute complex engineering and technology development projects while leading select strategic initiatives.

. Q‑Clearance required or eligible. U.S. citizenship required. DOE/NRC Q‑Clearance (or ability to obtain one) preferred.
- Lead projects that support mission‑critical nuclear technology.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and external partners.

- Develop integrated project plans including scope, cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Lead engineering projects and strategic initiatives from planning through close‑out.
- Track performance against cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and manage changes to scope, schedule, or execution approach.
- Facilitate cross‑functional coordination across engineering, operations, procurement, and partners.
- Support sourcing and development of key suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and best practices.
- Evaluate workflows and business processes; recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Support technology development and commercialization efforts.
- Perform other duties aligned with business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to operate effectively in evolving environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q‑Clearance (or active clearance preferred).
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed and travel approximately 10%.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Project management certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Experience supporting process improvement and governance initiatives.
- Knowledge of the nuclear fuel cycle, uranium enrichment, and UF6 handling.
- Experience with technology development, commercialization, or EPC projects.
- Working knowledge of CAD and related engineering tools.
- Experience in classified or highly regulated environments.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DOE/NRC Q‑Clearance are required.
