CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Electrical Technician III.

Job Title: Electrical Technician III
Location: Wilmington, NC
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Summary- Provide hands-on electrical support for installation, modification, startup, and troubleshooting of production and automation equipment.
- Support construction, installation, debug, and commissioning activities through turnover to operations.
- Spend the majority of time on the manufacturing floor working directly with equipment.
- Supervise and direct internal maintenance teams and external contractors during equipment installation, conversion, testing, and debugging.
- Knowledge of industrial power systems up to and including 480
VAC. - Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting and system validation.
- Translate engineering solutions into functional equipment and process requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with IT, Mechanical, and Process Engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience using standard tools, instruments, and measurement devices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong focus on job site safety, communication, and results-driven execution.
- AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology, BS in Electrical Engineering Technology, BS in Electrical Engineering, or similar. (Equivalent experience may be considered in rare circumstances.)
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience supporting process and automation equipment.
- No third-party resumes will be accepted.
