Responsibilities and OpportunitiesThe College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts is seeking temporary/part-time faculty for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 with the ability to teach in one or more of the following Social Sciences departments and disciplines:
- Anthropology
- International Studies
- Public and International Affairs
- Sociology and Criminology
The academic year includes Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026.
Education and Experience RequirementsMinimum
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Undergraduate course teaching:
Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. - Graduate course teaching:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. - Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.

This is a temporary position; the length of the assignment will be based on departmental need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary employees are not permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Temporary employees are subject to Affordable Care Act guidelines.
