Colon & Rectal Surgeon

We are seeking a Colon & Rectal Surgeon to join the Novant Health New Hanover Colon & Rectal Surgery team in Wilmington, NC.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient colorectal surgical care, including complex and elective procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes 3 physicians and 2 APPs.
• Participate in the surgical residency program and provide teaching and mentorship.
• Utilize robotics and advanced imaging technology to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain a commitment to patient‑centered care and uphold the principles of “First Do No Harm.”

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• For specialty physicians – completion of an accredited fellowship in colorectal surgery
• Board certification or eligibility in colorectal surgery
• Current MD license in the applicable state
• Current DEA license
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
