Hospital Employed Position 30 Minutes to the Coast. 4 MDs already present and practicing. 210 Bed Hospital in a High Growth Community. Inpatient consults only (no rounding). 3 to 4 week wait for new patients presently. Non-profit hospital facility. Tremendous compensation and benefits package offered. 75/25 split on clinic lab/endoscopy. Each physician has their own designated RN for support. 50+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and volume continues to grow.

Candidates can do general GI practice, but there is also demand for ERCP and EUS procedures/advanced endoscopy. CMC Cancer Center is affiliate with Duke Health Network, which allows for cancer cases to stay in network and local to the area versus referring Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support o All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation.

Referral Sources:
Referrals come from both within CMC PCP network and outside. PNS has experienced huge growth over the last couple of years and minimal turnover, including adding a new orthopedic surgery group 36 Patient contact hours with 4 Admin hours/week. Consults and rounding a done by the physician on call 1:4 Call (will go to 1:5) Consult Only Service - No Admissions.
