Construction Superintendent

Invoke Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a leading commercial general contractor based in Wilmington, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven field leader to oversee high-quality commercial construction projects from the ground up.

About the Role

As a Construction Superintendent, you'll be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. You'll lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the on-site representative ensuring clear communication between project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job site operations, safety, scheduling, and quality control
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
• Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and company standards
• Lead daily and weekly project meetings with subcontractors and project management
• Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule or field challenges
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and inspections
• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
• Proven success managing projects over $5 million in value
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Procore experience a plus)
• OSHA certification preferred
