Assistant to Project Manager

Essential Functions

• Assist setup and maintenance of cost report, JDE
• Assist setup and maintenance of Heavy Job tracking
• Coordination of Drawings and Specifications with Trades
• Prepare RFI and Submittals
• Scheduling, P6 Development, and updates
• Prepare Procurement Log to manage and schedule long lead items
• Coordinate meetings with Trades, Clients, Governing Agencies and Inspectors
• Manage Trade and Owner Change Orders
• Schedule work as necessary to meet schedule
• Manage costs for varying scopes of work
• At least 10 years of previous civils construction office and field experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role
• 5 years or more of direct supervisory experience
• Experience with project manager software (JD Edwards, P6, Heavy Job, etc.)
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s)

Preferred Experience

• Local candidate preferred, but not required.
