EligibilityEligibility for this position is limited to candidates who have completed the Clancy & Theys Internship Program.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and control of contract documents and project administration procedures.
- Support the project management team in setting up new projects within the project management system.
- Help manage the permitting process and assist with coordination between project stakeholders.
- Partner with the Superintendent to develop the site utilization plan and coordinate logistics.
- Participate in the development of loss prevention, quality control, and sustainability plans.
- Proactively review and process all submittals and shop drawings to ensure timely material delivery.
- Maintain accurate and organized administrative logs (RFIs, RFPs, Submittals, IRNs, etc.).
- Serve as the on‑site quality manager for assigned trades, ensuring deliveries meet project specifications.
- Attend and document project meetings, assisting with progress reports and meeting minutes.
- Distribute proposal change documents and assist with collecting and reviewing subcontractor pricing.
- Ensure as‑built drawings are accurately updated to reflect project changes and clarifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and collaborate with senior preconstruction staff to support cost estimating.
- Assist with constructability reviews and help refine project documentation.
- Minimum 2‑year Associate’s Degree; preferred 4‑year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0‑3 years of progressive industry experience (internship or entry‑level).
- Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sketch Up or Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
