Main Purpose of the RoleThe VP of Sales (US) will own and scale Bolt Insight’s commercial growth in the United States. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the US sales strategy, growing enterprise and mid‑market revenue, and building strong executive‑level relationships with key accounts.
You will lead and develop the US commercial team (client development / new business), drive forecasting and pipeline discipline, and partner closely with Research, Operations, and Product to ensure outstanding client outcomes.
Main Duties And Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth- Own the US revenue plan, sales strategy, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline; drive consistent forecasting and performance management.
- Identify and open new strategic accounts; expand existing enterprise relationships.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (VP/C‑level) across brand, marketing, insights, and strategy functions.
- Lead high‑impact client meetings, QBRs, and strategic presentations.
- Represent Bolt Insight as a senior commercial leader and trusted advisor in the US market.
- Lead, coach, and scale the US sales / client development team.
- Build best practices for outreach, discovery, consultative selling, and account growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation and positioning for US segments.
- Partner closely with Research and Operations to ensure delivery excellence and long‑term client satisfaction.
- Translate client business problems into research programs and insight‑led solutions.
- Provide market feedback to Product and Strategy to guide roadmap and differentiation.
- Stay current on US industry trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Use market insights to shape Bolt Insight’s commercial strategy and thought leadership.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties to support company objectives.
- 12+ years in sales/client development/commercial roles within market research, insights, analytics, or related consultative services.
- Proven track record of closing and scaling enterprise and mid‑market accounts in the US.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and building a high‑performance sales culture.
- Strong executive presence; experience engaging VP/C‑level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of research methodologies and how to commercialize insights.
- Strong consultative selling skills; ability to translate client challenges into solutions.
- Strong collaboration across research, product, and operations.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI ownership.
