Managing Director at IKA – Laboratory, Analytical and Processing TechnologySUMMARY:
This position will assist and be involved in all aspects of Accounting, including financial and cost accounting. Duties will also include fixed assets, general ledger account reconciliations, and general journal entries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
General Accounting:
- G/L account maintenance and reconciliations.
- Maintain and record all Fixed Asset Activity.
- Prepare various monthly journal entries.
- Assist with monthly reporting package.
- Assist in the completion of annual audit.
- Assist with daily and monthly reports.
- Assist with the yearly budgeting process.
- Back up to Accounts Receivable and Payable functions.
- Assist with related special projects as required.
- Assist with cost accounting and overhead rate generation.
- Assist with various analysis such as overhead variances and material consumption.
- Use of Excel at an advanced level.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university; plus a minimum of two years' experience and/or training.
