How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Quality Engineer you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving Quality at our Wilmington facility. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate on the development, implementation, and maintenance quality management systems (QMS) and documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and corporate guidelines.
  • Support and participate with regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
  • Update QMS with incidents, corrective actions, and continuous improvements.
  • Inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability and quality of products, materials, and equipment.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Determine and monitor quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures.
  • Identify root causes of technical and quality issues; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage non-conformance investigations and drive process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, issues, and improvement initiatives for management review.
  • Train staff on quality control procedures and advocate for a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to address feedback and ensure satisfaction.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate quality testing activities.
  • Set clear guidelines for inspections and quality checks.
  • Monitor, and interpret SPC charts, update control chart limits.
Required Qualifications that Enables Your Success
  • Bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Polymers or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Knowledge of lab practices, lab techniques, and quality management principles.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables and LOOKUPs) and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Experience working with and leading others.
Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward
  • Experience with GMP.
