- Operate the CNC machine daily, including fixturing, running programs, and maintenance.
- Use CAD/CAM software to program 3‑axis milling machines to machine complex metallic structures and components. 4th and 5th axis experience is a bonus.
- Design complex fixturing.
- Select tooling and maintain the tool library.
- Support the Applications Team (R&D) with DFM (design for manufacturing).
- Assist with the procurement of additional milling/manufacturing equipment.
- Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment (bandsaw, furnace, media blast, etc.) while maintaining a clean and organized shop.
- 10+ years of combined experience operating and programming CNC machinery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work effectively with a cross‑functional and multidisciplinary team environment.
- Travel up to 10%.
- Associate degree or above in engineering disciplines.
- Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium, and nickel‑based alloys).
- Experience with Autodesk Fusion/Solidworks CAM.
- Experience machining metal additive‑manufactured parts.
- Experience with Haas equipment.
- Experience working in commercial metal AM manufacturing facilities (service bureaus, manufacturing divisions, laboratories, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Salary Range: $78,000—$90,000 USD.
