PLM Business Systems Analyst
The PLM Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and PLM technology solutions, leveraging professional experience in PLM environments. The analyst will gather process mapping, and system design for cross-functional PLM projects, ensuring that solutions support organizational objectives and enable efficient product lifecycle management. The analyst will coordinate with managed services or development teams to implement and test new PLM features, provide guidance on best practices and scalability, and support rollout and adoption of new capabilities across user groups.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, document, and validate PLM business and technical requirements from stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain departments, i.e. the entire value chain.
- Analyze PLM business processes and workflows, such as NPI, document management, change control, and item/BOM management to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents and collaborate with development teams to deliver effective PLM system solutions, including CAD data management and ERP integrations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, manage PLM project timelines, and ensure clear communication throughout the solution development lifecycle.
- Lead user acceptance testing and support change management activities related to PLM system upgrades and new feature deployments.
- Act as a subject matter expert in PLM systems, providing guidance and training to end-users and supporting adoption of best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of PLM experience. Teamcenter experience, including Teamcenter X (SaaS) configuration and deployment is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of and experience with PLM process areas: NPI, document management, change control, item/BOM management, and product quality processes.
- Solid understanding of CAD data management (especially Solid Works, AutoCAD, OrCAD, and Altium) and ERP integration concepts. Familiarity with Revit and the Autodesk construction suite.
- Ability to translate PLM business requirements into detailed
- Experience working with global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
