- Lead process development:
Design, validate, and implement new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows. - Drive continuous improvement:
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical methods to reduce waste, variability, and cycle time. - Own root cause analysis:
Investigate production issues using structured problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC). - Develop process documentation:
Create and maintain SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions. - Lead cross-functional projects:
Partner with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations to deliver process improvements and new product introductions. - Optimize equipment performance:
Specify, procure, and validate machinery; improve OEE and reliability. - Support new product introduction:
Translate product requirements into robust, scalable manufacturing processes. - Analyze production data:
Use SPC, capability studies, and data analytics to monitor and improve process performance. - Ensure regulatory compliance:
Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and industry-specific standards (ISO, FDA, AS9100, etc.). - Mentor junior engineers:
Provide technical guidance and support skill development across the engineering team.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer.
- Hands-on equipment experience:
Process automation, robotics, machining, molding, assembly, or other relevant technologies. - Proficiency in data analysis:
Minitab, JMP, Python, or similar tools. - Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems to support production planning and process tracking.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.

Annual Compensation range: $120k-$150k
