Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce company and OSHA safety standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure quality and productivity.
- Oversee field logistics, equipment placement, and overall site conditions.
- Document daily activities and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Upload, track, and distribute drawings, RFIs, submittals, and engineering documents in Autodesk ACC.
- Maintain equipment matrices and update layouts as needed.
- Capture and upload project photos for documentation.
- Prepare accurate meeting minutes for owner, subcontractor, and design coordination meetings.
- Issue weekly project update emails to stakeholders.
- Solicit subcontractor bids related to RFIs or owner‑requested changes.
- Prepare cost estimates and change order requests (CORs).
- Process approved change orders in Sage and issue commitment changes to subcontractors.
- Review subcontractor proposals, level bids, and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare and manage contracts, purchase orders, and required attachments.
- Track and report project profit and loss.
- Develop and maintain overall project schedules and 3‑week look‑ahead schedules.
- Track and update project milestones with the project team.
- Lead punch list development and closeout activities, including collection of warranties, manuals, and closeout documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of construction management experience with both field and project oversight.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore and/or Autodesk ACC required; Sage preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Hands‑on leader with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Skilled at balancing field supervision with administrative and financial responsibilities.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable with construction management platforms and reporting tools.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven.
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and bending on active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain, ladders, scaffolding, and active work areas.
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, dust, and construction‑related hazards (with proper PPE).
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Ability to travel to and from project sites as required.
