Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company's financial operations while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with precision and attention to detail.

- Conduct timely and effective collections of outstanding payments from commercial clients.

- Apply cash payments accurately to customer accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation.

- Handle billing functions, including preparing and sending invoices to clients.

- Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable activities and payment histories.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address client inquiries.

- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize delinquencies.

- Generate reports related to accounts receivable and provide insights to management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

- Strong understanding of cash applications and billing processes.

- Excellent skills in commercial collections and payment follow-ups.

- Proficiency in using financial software and tools.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and reconciliation.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Familiarity with relevant accounting principles and practices.
