CDL A Truck Driver – Hiring Area:
Wilmington, DE 19801 – $1,325 to $1,525 per Week

American Trucking Group is seeking an experienced CDL A truck driver to operate within our established regional network. This fleet emphasizes equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and organized dispatch coordination to support consistent weekly income.

Drivers haul refrigerated freight within a defined regional area and operate assigned late‑model equipment.

• Pay: $1,325 – $1,525 per week
• Sign‑on Bonus: $3,000
• Home Time: Two days off every other week
• Freight: 100 % no‑touch refrigerated freight

Operation of Kenworth T‑680 automatic tractors equipped with auxiliary power units, power inverters, refrigerators, and Bluetooth capability. Units are fitted with outward‑facing cameras only. Smart Truck UT6 aerodynamic trailers are utilized to enhance fuel efficiency and stability.

Assigned tractors may be parked at the driver’s residence when suitable parking is available.

Regional lanes primarily run east of I‑35. Freight consists of temperature‑controlled loads with a combination of drop‑and‑hook and scheduled live load appointments. Dispatch planning focuses on maintaining steady mileage and operational consistency.

Drivers earn $1,325 to $1,525 per week with compensation provided for all dispatched miles. A $3,000 sign‑on incentive is available. Performance‑based quarterly compensation and additional accessorial pay are offered when applicable.

Paid orientation is provided by the company. Following orientation, drivers are placed into scheduled freight rotations within the regional network.

Health coverage options, including medical, vision, and prescription plans, become available after 90 days of employment. Life insurance options are included. Paid time off accrues after one year of service, and holiday compensation begins after 90 days. A 401(k) retirement savings plan becomes available following one year of employment. A rider and pet program is also available.
