The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for Camp Counselors to join our team and focus on providing the highest quality of service for our membership in our Summer Camp.
- Follow & maintain the Sports Camp program to meet the DuPont Country Club goals and objectives.
- Plans, leads, & implements Sports Camp programming for children.
- Provides constructive & enjoyable experiences and opportunities for camp participants.
- Supervises campers to ensure their safety, development, and general well-being.
- Follows & enforces safety guidelines associated with the Sports Camp program.
- Supervises campers during all programs throughout the camp day.
- Works with Sports Camp staff members to provide a safe & fun environment for campers.
- Cleans, maintains, & ensures proper use of camp facilities & equipment
- Coordinates first day registrations.
- Works with other departments at DuPont Country Club while participating in sports (Tennis, Golf, and Swimming).
- Communicates with Food & Beverage department in regard to allergies and other dietary needs for the campers.
- Ability to delegate and to take satisfaction from getting a job done through others.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Able to work well with others.
- Upbeat and patient attitude
- Familiarity with sports, such as volleyball, soccer, swimming, etc.
- Junior Camp Counselors must be age 16 or older by May 1st, 2026
- Camp Counselors must be age 18 or older by May 1st, 2026
- Typical availability between 8:30am and 4:30pm
Availability required from Monday, June 8, 2026, through Friday, August 21, 2026. Mandatory orientation on Saturday, May 30th & Sunday, May 31st.
