The Lead Software Engineer II plays an important role in building and enhancing engineering solutions across the organization. This role focuses on designing and delivering reliable, high‑quality frontend software while contributing to technical discussions, improving engineering practices, and supporting team execution. You will work closely with senior engineers, Product, and Design/UX to build performant, maintainable, and user‑focused features and applications.

• Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software iteratively and incrementally.
• Take ownership of key components and features—from hands‑on coding to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to frontend observability using tools like Datadog and Fullstory for error tracking, performance monitoring, and user session analysis.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute architectural insights, working with senior leaders to shape solutions.
• Ensure software follows modern engineering practices, including clean code, testing, automation, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Support continuous improvement in code quality, reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and help validate assumptions and approaches.

• Mentor and support junior engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product, and Design/UX to deliver well‑aligned solutions.
• Contribute to a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

• 5–7 years of professional frontend software engineering experience.
• Expertise with Angular (preferred), React, or Vue at scale.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Type Script, including experience with advanced typing and generics.
• Strong understanding of reactive programming patterns and state management, with experience in libraries such as RxJS, NgRx, Vuex/Pinia, or Redux.
• Strong proficiency in CSS/SCSS, HTML, responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and mobile‑first development.
