Back End Developer

Title – Backend Developer with Python and AWS Location – NYC, NY/Wilmington, DE - 100% Onsite Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

Strong proficiency in Python for backend development

Solid experience with AWS cloud services
, including:

• S3, Glue, IAM, KMS
• Lambda, SNS, SQS
• Step Functions, Event Bridge
• API Gateway, Load Balancers
• Cloud Watch
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of serverless and event-driven systems
• Experience with Databricks and large-scale data processing
• Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data lake concepts

Experience working with Snowflake

• Develop, and maintain backend microservices using Python
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services
• Develop event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS managed services
• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available solutions
• Integrate AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Event Bridge, API Gateway, Load Balancers, and Aurora DB
• Implement IAM, KMS, and security best practices
• Build and manage data pipelines and integrations with Databricks
• Implement application logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Cloud Watch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, Dev Ops, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning
