** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical or petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or process-area access concerns through established communication channels.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, tank farms, loading areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or other unwanted activity.

+ Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification and authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries according to site procedures.

+ Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate noteworthy conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be 21+ years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
