Role Overview
The Hybrid Wholesaler will be responsible for developing new business and supporting existing relationships with financial intermediaries. This individual will execute a high-velocity outreach strategy through outbound calls, digital meetings, email campaigns, and coordinated activity with the team. You will play a pivotal role in building regional momentum, driving inflows, and educating the market on company's differentiated ETF lineup.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Outreach
- Proactively engage financial advisors through outbound calls, video meetings, email sequences, and social/digital channels.
- Build and manage a robust regional pipeline of RIAs and intermediary targets.
- Schedule and lead product-focused meetings, virtual lunch-and-learns, and follow-up consultations.
- Deliver a consistent cadence of outreach that meets or exceeds activity expectations.
- Present company's ETF lineup with confidence, clarity, and strong product knowledge.
- Articulate portfolio use cases, income generation strategies, and tax-efficient advantages.
- Address common challenges in the marketplace.
- Execute territory planning, meeting prep, follow-up, and campaign execution.
- Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within the CRM.
- Identify regional trends, new opportunities, and advisor segments for targeted outreach.
- Coordinate campaigns, follow-ups, and partner events.
- Manage weekly communication with the sales management to align goals and activity.
- Build trust with advisors through consistent communication, reliable service, and value-added insights.
- Develop deep familiarity with top producers and emerging producers in the territory.
- Walk advisors through onboarding, due diligence, and model inclusion processes.
Required
- 2–5+ years of financial services sales experience, preferably in ETFs, asset management, or broker-dealer distribution.
- Strong phone presence, professional communication skills, and ability to conduct high-impact video meetings.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close business in a structured sales environment.
- Knowledge of capital markets, investment products, asset allocation, and ETF mechanics.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required or obtainable within a defined window.
- Experience supporting an external wholesaler or managing a territory.
- Familiarity with RIAs, independent Client platforms, and model portfolio processes.
- Ability to articulate income-focused strategies and tax-efficient product benefits.
