Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, Incyte has operations in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The 11‑week summer internship is designed for senior undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD students seeking exposure to a professional, corporate environment. The internship is project‑based, with each intern assigned one clearly defined project aligned to the hosting department’s priorities. The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and practical application of academic knowledge while contributing to meaningful work.
Program duration:
June 1 - August 14, 2026.
- Explore dynamic randomization approaches and how they may support more balanced and efficient clinical trial execution.
- Conduct simulation studies and exploratory analyses to compare performance metrics.
- Apply independent problem‑solving and statistical reasoning to evaluate methodological trade‑offs and practical considerations.
- Summarize findings in a clear, decision‑focused report, highlighting implications for study design and process improvement.
- Present recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision‑making and advance methodological understanding within the team.
- If time permits, explore complementary topics such as missing data methodologies.
- Read literature, plan, and execute project tasks with manager guidance.
- Analyze data or information and draw actionable conclusions through discussion.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders as appropriate.
- Communicate progress and challenges proactively.
- Deliver a final presentation with findings, outcomes, and recommendations.
- Exposure to real‑world decision‑making and project ownership.
- Development of advanced analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Networking with professionals and leaders across the organization.
- Insight into potential full‑time career paths.
- Senior undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD student at the time of internship.
- Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related majors highly recommended.

- High level of initiative and accountability.
Interns who demonstrate strong performance, skill alignment, and cultural fit may be considered for full‑time employment following the program, based on business needs and role availability.
