Registered Nurse; RN PACU Wilmington Hospital​/Evening Shift

Job Details

Full-time – 40 hours weekly. Predominantly Day/Evening shift – 8s, 9s, or 10 hours. No 12-hour shifts. Staggered start times. On-call responsibility. Some weekends and holidays rotation per department guidelines. Wilmington, Delaware.

Registered Nurse II role with our PACU team. You will rotate through perioperative phases:
Prep & Holding/Phase II, Discharge, and PACU.

• Independent peri‑anesthetic management of diverse surgical and procedural patients.
• Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients, including those with underlying medical or emotional problems.
• Observe patients for effects of anesthesia.
• Supervise and record patient vital signs.
• Perform post‑operative tasks such as administering medication or changing dressings.

• BSN required, or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
• Current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in one of the following areas:
  Perianesthesia Nursing, Critical Care, or HVIS.

• Annual membership to  and access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 – $66.05.
