Encore at Wilmington is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to provide overnight clinical leadership and ensure high-quality resident care. This role supports the Director of Nursing (DON) and oversees nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and resident safety during the 11p–7a shift.
The RN Supervisor is accountable for maintaining standards of care, guiding the team, and ensuring smooth overnight operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support nursing staff during overnight shift
- Conduct rounds and monitor changes in resident condition
- Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and physician order follow-through
- Review and complete incident and medication error reports
- Perform chart audits and compliance checks
- Maintain infection control and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and leadership
- Participate in on‑call rotation as required
- Support Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Active Delaware RN License or Compact (Multi-State) RN License required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience (long-term care preferred)
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of SNF regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
