Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Stepdown – Day Shift

Christiana Care seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4N Medical Stepdown Unit in Wilmington, DE.

Day Shift hours: 7 a.m.−7 p.m., with weekend and holiday coverage as per departmental guidelines.

• Provide quality nursing care to patients with a range of medical diagnoses, including Pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, stroke, diabetes, wounds, UTI, pancreatitis, cellulitis, and more.
• Care for patients across the age spectrum: adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document nursing care.
• Work on a mixed‑acuity unit, allowing you to maintain ACLS certification and learn from critical and emergent patient situations.
• Implement evidence‑based practices and support a culture of growth, inclusivity, and clinical excellence.

• Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
• BSN preferred, or commitment to obtaining a BSN within 3 years of hire.
• RN with 1–2 years of acute or sub‑acute care experience preferred.

Base pay range: $41.28 /hr – $66.05 /hr.
