Corporate Litigation Paralegal - Wilmington, DE - $100-140k - Hybrid
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Delaware Chancery Court proceedings to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and research skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, including case law, statutes, and court documents, with a specific focus on Delaware Chancery Court precedent.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and court filings.
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Manage document production, including electronic data review and production using e-discovery software.
- Maintain meticulous case files and databases, ensuring all documents are properly organized and accessible.
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel on discovery and other litigation matters.
- Conduct factual investigations, including interviewing witnesses and gathering relevant information.
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and presentations.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in Delaware Chancery Court and relevant areas of law.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Litigation Paralegal.
- Proven experience with Delaware Chancery Court proceedings is essential.
- Strong understanding of legal research and analysis methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases (Westlaw, Lexis Nexis).
- Experience with e-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
