Finance & Restructuring Associate
Our client, with locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, provides an integrated, proactive approach to their clients’ legal and business needs around the globe.
They are currently seeking a talented Finance & Restructuring Associate with 1–5 years of experience to join the firm’s Delaware office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a sophisticated mix of bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters within a highly respected and collaborative national practice group.
Role OverviewIn this role, you will support clients through complex financial restructurings, bankruptcy proceedings, and commercial disputes. You will gain exposure to a wide range of matters and work closely with experienced attorneys across the firm.
Responsibilities- Support bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 11 and related proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis in restructuring and commercial litigation matters.
- Assist with case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy, hearings, and client communications.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 1–5 years of litigation and/or bankruptcy experience.
- Admission to the Delaware Bar.
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strong academic credentials and a commitment to high-quality work.
Salary Range: $205,000 – $235,000, depending on depth of experience.
- Option to elect a lower billable-hours track with a proportional salary adjustment.
- Eligibility for the firm’s associate bonus program.
