Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst, Data Science Manager
Onsite / Hybrid, Wilmington, DE – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
HR Data and Analytics LeaderWe are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Data and Analytics Leader to design and drive our people analytics strategy. In this role, you will leverage data science, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) to generate predictive and prescriptive insights that inform our talent and workforce strategies. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across HR, Finance and other business units to understand stakeholder objectives and develop data strategies that align with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of the organization’s people analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, Finance and the business units to identify strategic goals and opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of data analysts, providing guidance on the design and delivery of reports, dashboards and visualizations.
- Prioritize and manage data projects to ensure the timely delivery of insights while maintaining a balanced and sustainable workload for the team.
- Establish and promote best practices for data access and consumption across the organization, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- Drive the adoption and integration of AI and machine learning to analyze complex workforce data, uncover trends and enable proactive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key people metrics and KPIs to support continuous measurement of HR program effectiveness and workforce health.
- Present complex data‑driven insights in a clear and compelling way to senior leadership and executives.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, specifically managing teams in data, reporting and analytics functions.
- Proven experience working within a data analytics function, with a track record of delivering impactful, data‑driven recommendations and implementing analytics strategies.
- Proficiency with data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., SQL, Python) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI); experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data manipulation.
- Hands‑on experience applying AI and machine learning to workforce data to uncover insights and support predictive analytics.
- Strong understanding of core HR functional areas – talent acquisition, talent development, workforce planning and employee engagement.
- Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices related to data access, governance and security.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends and develop actionable solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Clear understanding of business objectives and how data can be leveraged to inform and drive organizational strategy.
