Overview

Lead a global credit card analytics and reporting function, driving team performance, executive reporting, data governance, and scalable analytics solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor an international analytics and reporting team (including offshore team management).
  • Own executive, operational, and regulatory reporting for credit card portfolios.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SQL/SAS analytics solutions.
  • Oversee data quality, reconciliation, governance, and validation processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align analytics delivery with business strategy.
  • Evaluate pipeline processes and reporting flows between internal systems and third-party platforms (e.g., Client).
  • Drive experimentation using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI) to enhance analytics efficiency.
  • Support portfolio performance analytics including customer lifecycle, collections, delinquency, and revenue performance.
Requirements Must-Haves
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services or fintech environments.
  • 5+ years within U.S. credit card analytics (deep understanding of credit card lifecycle, over-limit fees, collections, delinquency metrics).
  • 3+ years managing analytics teams, including offshore teams.
  • Advanced SQL and SAS coding expertise.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality checks, and reporting validation.
  • Strong understanding of performance-based portfolio analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client-facing presence required.
  • Exposure to AI tools such as generative AI or LLM platforms (experimentation-focused, not pure modeling).
  • Ability to pass a credit background check.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with Client or similar financial systems.
  • Python or R experience.
  • Tableau or other BI visualization tools.
  • Experience modernizing reporting platforms or building metadata dictionaries.
  • Regulatory or audit exposure within financial services.
