OverviewLead a global credit card analytics and reporting function, driving team performance, executive reporting, data governance, and scalable analytics solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Lead and mentor an international analytics and reporting team (including offshore team management).
- Own executive, operational, and regulatory reporting for credit card portfolios.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SQL/SAS analytics solutions.
- Oversee data quality, reconciliation, governance, and validation processes.
- Partner cross-functionally to align analytics delivery with business strategy.
- Evaluate pipeline processes and reporting flows between internal systems and third-party platforms (e.g., Client).
- Drive experimentation using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI) to enhance analytics efficiency.
- Support portfolio performance analytics including customer lifecycle, collections, delinquency, and revenue performance.
- 7+ years of experience in financial services or fintech environments.
- 5+ years within U.S. credit card analytics (deep understanding of credit card lifecycle, over-limit fees, collections, delinquency metrics).
- 3+ years managing analytics teams, including offshore teams.
- Advanced SQL and SAS coding expertise.
- Experience with data governance, data quality checks, and reporting validation.
- Strong understanding of performance-based portfolio analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client-facing presence required.
- Exposure to AI tools such as generative AI or LLM platforms (experimentation-focused, not pure modeling).
- Ability to pass a credit background check.
- Experience with Client or similar financial systems.
- Python or R experience.
- Tableau or other BI visualization tools.
- Experience modernizing reporting platforms or building metadata dictionaries.
- Regulatory or audit exposure within financial services.
