Job Description

Own end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions within AWS to drive business impact in a regulated financial services environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML and LLM-based solutions in AWS
  • Translate business problems into scalable AI architectures
  • Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, agents, and automation workflows
  • Implement prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails
  • Partner with product, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders
  • Deploy and monitor production-grade AI systems
  • Support CI/CD, MLOps, and AI governance best practices
  • Assess legacy processes and recommend AI-driven improvements
Requirements Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of software engineering, ML, or applied AI experience
  • Professional experience building and deploying AI solutions in production
  • Experience deploying cloud solutions in AWS (Azure acceptable)
  • Hands-on LLM experience (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, or open-source models)
  • Experience working with third-party vendors
  • Ability to operate in regulated environments (financial services preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be USC and able to pass a credit background check
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Experience transitioning legacy systems
  • Prior technical leadership or initiative ownership
